Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Stellita now resides in America’s finest city, San Diego, California. Growing up in a musical household, Stellita was exposed to a range of music; including Gospel Jazz, Blues, Motown, R&B, Rock and Country.
She was influenced by hypnotic voices like Billie Holiday, Diana Ross, Nancy Wilson, Natalie Cole and later – Sade, Luther Vandross and Whitney Houston. Her groove has the feeling of old times, infused with the soul of today!
More than a voice, Stellita is an absolute entertainer! Some say that she has a magical way of making her audience feel like old friends, as they sing along. Her goal is to fill her audience hearts with the music they love to hear and remember long after the night is over.
To Stellita, music is a ministry that heals the soul. She gives thanks to God for giving her this gift and all the other gifts of life!
